About Chris Thomas
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Adult and Youth Therapy

Welcome, my name is Chris, and I work with youth (13+) and adults who want to better understand their emotions, manage anger, and build healthier patterns in their relationships and daily lives. I believe therapy works best when it begins with a genuine, trusting connection, and I strive to create a supportive, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard and understood.

With experience in school-based, youth, and adult counselling, I bring a practical and grounded approach to helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions. I use CBT, Solution-Focused strategies, and person-centred therapy informed by existential principles, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals while focusing on skill-building and real-world application.

Focus Areas

Anger & Emotional Regulation: Chris works with clients who want to better understand and manage anger, impulsive reactions, and emotional disregulation. He helps build practical skills to respond more effectively in daily life and relationships.

Anxiety, Stress & Overwhelm: Chris supports individuals experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, and overwhelm, helping them identify patterns, develop coping strategies, and increase emotional resilience.

Youth & Adult Support: With experience in school-based, youth, and adult counselling, Chris understands developmental and life-stage challenges. He works collaboratively with clients to strengthen self-awareness, communication, and coping skills.
