Child, Youth and Play Therapy in Langley, BC and Beyond.

Child & Youth Therapy

At Pacific Pines Wellness, we understand that childhood and adolescence can bring big emotions, rapid changes, and experiences that are often difficult to understand or express. Our Child & Youth Therapy services provide a warm, supportive, and developmentally appropriate space where children and teens can safely explore their feelings, build healthy coping skills, and feel genuinely heard and understood. We believe young people thrive when they feel safe, supported, and accepted, which is why our therapists meet each child where they are using evidence-based and play-informed approaches tailored to their unique needs. Whether a child is struggling with anxiety, fears, self-esteem, social challenges, family changes, identity exploration, grief, trauma, or emotional stress, we are here to help them navigate these experiences with care, compassion, and confidence.

Our Approach to Child & Youth Therapy

We recognize that teens often express themselves differently than adults, which is why therapy is designed to meet them in ways that feel natural, comfortable, and engaging. Sessions provide a supportive space where young people can communicate through conversation, creativity, movement, and play while exploring a full range of emotions, including sadness, anger, worry, and joy.

Depending on each child’s needs, therapy may include art, games, creative activities, emotional regulation techniques, coping strategies, communication and relationship skill-building, and collaborative goal setting. When appropriate, family support and parent guidance may also be incorporated to help strengthen connection and understanding at home. For teens, sessions often focus more on talk therapy, identity development, emotional insight, and building healthy coping skills that support confidence, resilience, and overall well-being.
