About Nav Gill
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Adult & Youth Therapy
Welcome, my name is Nav, and I work with youth (13+), adults, and families. I believe meaningful therapy begins with a genuine connection, and I strive to create a safe, trusting, and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.
With over a decade of experience in the education system, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges people face across different stages of life. I work collaboratively and respectfully, using a somatic, brain-based approach to support healing and growth. I am an EMDRIA-certified EMDR therapist and also incorporate Brainspotting, tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs and goals.
Focus Areas
Trauma & PTSD: Nav specializes in supporting clients who have experienced trauma, using a compassionate, non-judgemental approach to help process difficult experiences, reduce distress, and restore a sense of safety and stability. He integrates EMDR and Brainspotting to support deep, brain-based healing.
Anxiety, Stress & Emotional Overwhelm: Nav works with individuals experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm, helping clients understand underlying patterns and develop tools to improve regulation, resilience, and overall well-being.
Youth, Teen & Family Support: With over a decade of experience in the education system, Nav brings a strong understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental challenges faced by youth and teens. He works collaboratively with families to strengthen communication, emotional awareness, and support systems.
Emotional Regulation & Nervous System Support: Using a somatic, brain-based lens, Nav helps clients build awareness of their nervous system responses and develop strategies to regulate emotions, reduce reactivity, and feel more grounded in daily life.
Identity, Life Transitions & Personal Growth: Nav supports clients navigating life transitions, identity exploration, and periods of change or uncertainty, offering a respectful and curious space to explore experiences and build clarity and confidence.
