I offer low-cost, affordable counselling options. If finances are a barrier to accessing support, please reach out about our affordable counselling program.

I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to my counselling work, shaped by a diverse professional background and a deep commitment to supporting individuals through life’s most complex and vulnerable moments. As a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, I offer a trauma-informed, strength-based approach that centres your unique story, values, and goals. I am especially mindful of how culture, identity, and lived experiences shape the way we understand ourselves, our relationships, and our place in the world. My aim is to create a safe, inclusive space where you feel deeply seen, heard, and supported.

Focus Areas

Anxiety & Depression – I support clients in exploring the roots of distress while developing practical strategies for managing difficult emotions. My approach fosters resilience, self-awareness, and renewed hope.

Trauma & PTSD – With a trauma-informed lens, I work collaboratively to process past experiences, identify patterns that no longer serve you, and cultivate tools for safety, stability, and empowerment.

Grief & Loss – I guide clients through the many layers of grief—whether from bereavement, chronic illness, or life changes—helping them honour their loss while finding ways to reconnect with meaning and purpose.

Chronic Illness & End-of-Life Support – Drawing from my experience in end-stage renal disease care, I provide compassionate support for individuals and families navigating the physical, emotional, and relational impacts of illness and mortality.

Addiction & Recovery – I help clients explore the underlying causes of addiction, strengthen coping strategies, and foster personal growth and self-compassion throughout the recovery process.

Life Transitions – Whether you are entering a new chapter, navigating identity changes, or reimagining your path, I provide guidance and support to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Relationship Challenges – I assist clients in improving communication, understanding emotional needs, and building healthier, more fulfilling connections.

Education and Experience
I am a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers and hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work. My career has spanned multiple settings, including addictions, domestic violence, forensic mental health, and palliative care for individuals with end-stage renal disease. These diverse experiences have deepened my understanding of human resilience, the impact of adversity, and the many ways people adapt, survive, and find meaning. I bring this understanding into my counselling practice, offering a collaborative, evidence-based approach to help clients build clarity, connection, and purpose in their lives.
