Book with a Virtual Counsellor in BC
My work has deepened my commitment to walking alongside others with empathy, resilience, and a belief in each person’s capacity for healing.
I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to my counselling work, shaped by a rich and diverse professional background and a deep commitment to supporting individuals through life’s most complex and vulnerable moments. As a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers and a Master’s degree in Social Work, I offer a trauma-informed, strength-based approach that centres your unique story, values, and goals.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across a range of settings—from addictions and domestic violence to forensic mental health and end-of-life care for individuals living with end-stage renal disease. These experiences have deepened my understanding of human resilience and the many ways people adapt, survive, and find meaning, even in the face of profound adversity.
In my practice, I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic illness, and major life transitions. Whether you are coping with personal loss, feeling disconnected from your sense of self, or striving to create change in your relationships or life path, I am here to walk alongside you. I believe healing begins when we feel safe, seen, and heard—and I strive to create that kind of space in every session.
My approach is collaborative, tailored to your needs, and rooted in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centred, trauma-informed frameworks. I work with clients to explore their inner strengths, identify patterns that no longer serve them, and take steps—big or small—toward greater clarity, connection, and purpose.
At the heart of my practice is a belief in the importance of authenticity, compassion, and curiosity. I’m especially mindful of how culture, identity, and lived experiences shape the way we understand ourselves and our place in the world. I honour the courage it takes to enter therapy and approach this work with deep respect for your vulnerability and strength.
Wherever you are in your journey, I am here to support you—with warmth, presence, and care. Together, we will create space to explore your story, reconnect with what matters most, and move toward healing and growth at a pace that feels right for you.
Let’s take the next step together—toward a life that feels more grounded, empowered, and whole.
I also offer low-cost, affordable counselling options. If finances are a barrier to accessing support, please reach out to learn more about the affordable counselling program.
